The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting on Mount Hira along with Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman when the mountain began to tremble. The Messenger of Allah said, "Be still, Hira, for there is none upon you but a prophet, a truthful one, or a martyr."
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان جالسا على حراء، ومعه أبو بكر وعمر وعثمان فتحرك الجبل، فقال رسول الله: اثبت حراء، فإنه ليس عليك إلا نبي، أو صديق، أو شهيد.
Ahmad (22939) and Ibn Abu Asim in Sunnah (1443) both narrated it through Ali bin Hasan bin Shaqiq, who said, Husayn bin Waqid told us, from Abdullah bin Burayda, from his father, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Husayn bin Waqid Marwazi, whose hadith is hasan, except that his wording "Hira" is not correct. The correct wording is "Uhud," as found in the sahih hadiths. As for Ibn Hajar, he graded its chain sahih in Fath al-Bari (7/38).
