Mount Uhud trembled while the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman were upon it. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Be still, Uhud, for upon you stand none but a prophet, a truthful one, and two martyrs."
ارتج أحد، وعليه النبي ﷺ وأبو بكر وعثمان، فقال النبي ﷺ: اثبت أحد، ما عليك إلا نبي وصديق وشهيدان.
Ahmad (22811), Ubayd bin Humayd (449), Ibn Abu Asim in Sunnah (1444), Ibn Hibban (6492), and Bayhaqi in Dalail (6/351) all narrated it, all of them by way of Abdul-Razzaq, who said, Maamar told us, from Abu Hazim, from Sahl bin Saad, who said what follows, and its isnad is sahih. Hafiz also graded it sahih in Fath al-Bari (7/38).Abdul-Razzaq (20401) also narrated it from Maamar, from Abu Hazim, from Sahl bin Saad, who said, "Uthman appealed to the people one day, saying, 'Do you know that the Prophet ﷺ climbed Uhud, along with Abu Bakr, Umar, and me, and Uhud shook...'" and so on to the end of the hadith.However, Bukhari narrated it in Tarikh al-Kabir (4/78) from Ahmad bin Hanbal and Ali bin Madini, from Abdul-Razzaq, in the same manner, then said, "Layth said, from Hisham bin Saad, from Abu Hazim and Zayd bin Aslam, who both informed him that Saeed bin Zayd narrated it from the Prophet ﷺ, and this version from Saeed bin Zayd is better known."Perhaps Abu Hazim heard the hadith from both Sahl bin Saad and Saeed bin Zayd.
