The Prophet ﷺ said, "Ibrahim will meet his father Azar on the Day of Resurrection, and there will be darkness and dust upon Azar's face. Ibrahim will say to him, 'Did I not tell you not to disobey me?' His father will reply, 'Today I will not disobey you.' Then Ibrahim will say, 'My Lord, You promised me that You would not disgrace me on the Day they are resurrected. What disgrace could be greater than that of my outcast father?' Allah the Exalted will respond, 'I have forbidden Paradise to the disbelievers.' Then it will be said, 'Ibrahim, look beneath your feet!' He will look, and there will be a hyena soaked in filth. It will be seized by its legs and cast into the Fire."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: يلقى إبراهيم أباه آزر يوم القيامة، وعلى وجه آزر قترة وغبرة، فيقول له إبراهيم: ألم أقل لك: لا تعصني؟ فيقول أبوه: فاليوم لا أعصيك. فيقول إبراهيم: يا رب إنك وعدتني أن لا تخزيني يوم يبعثون، فأي خزي أخزى من أبي الأبعد؟ فيقول الله تعالى: إني حرمت الجنة على الكافرين. ثم يقال: يا إبراهيم، ما تحت رجليك! فينظر، فإذا هو بذبخ ملتطخ، فيؤخذ بقوائمه فيلقى في النار.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapters on the prophets (3350) from Ismail bin Abdullah, who said, my brother Abdul-Hameed told me, from Ibn Abu Dhib, from Saeed Maqburi, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.His saying "dhaykh" is with a kasrah on the dotted dhal, followed by a silent ya, then a dotted kha. It means the male hyena, as stated by Hafiz in Fath al-Bari.
