The Prophet ﷺ ordered him to announce during the days of Tashriq that none shall enter Paradise except a believer, and that these are days of eating and drinking.
أن النبي ﷺ أمره أن ينادي أيام التشريق: أنه لا يدخل الجنة إلا مؤمن، وهي أيام أكل وشرب.
Nasai (4994) narrated it from Qutayba, who said, "Hammad narrated to us, from Amr, from Nafi bin Jubayr bin Mutim, from Bishr bin Suhaym," and he related the hadith. Ibn Khuzayma (2960) graded it sahih, and he narrated it through Hammad bin Zayd, with his chain, in similar wording.Ibn Majah (1720) narrated it through several routes from Waki, from Sufyan, from Habib bin Abu Thabit, from Nafi bin Jubayr, with his chain, except that he said in it, "The Prophet ﷺ delivered a sermon on the days of Tashriq and said, 'No soul shall enter Paradise except a Muslim soul, and these days are days of eating and drinking.'"Habib bin Abu Thabit was accused of tadlis. He did explicitly state that he heard it from Nafi bin Jubayr bin Mutim, but he did not name the companion, saying only, "He relates from a man among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ." Imam Ahmad (15430) narrated it through Shuba, who said, "Habib bin Abu Thabit informed me," with his chain.
