A man passed by them at Mina during the days of Tashriq, urging his camel along and calling out that these were days of eating and drinking. I asked who he was, and they said, "Ali bin Abu Talib."

Its isnad is sahih. Yahya, the teacher of Ahmad, is Yahya bin Saeed Qattan, the imam and hafiz. From Yahya bin Saeed, he is Ansari the judge, and he is trustworthy, an authority, and reliable.Yusuf bin Masud bin Hakam Zurqi is mentioned by Ibn Hibban in Thiqat.His grandmother is his father's mother, explained previously at 708.
