The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The lives of the believers are equal in value, they stand united against all others, and the protection granted by the lowest among them is binding on them all. Beware, no believer is to be killed in retaliation for a disbeliever, nor anyone bound by a covenant while his covenant stands."
