Abu Qasim ﷺ said, "If the Ansar were to travel through a valley or a mountain pass, I would travel through the pass of the Ansar or the valley of the Ansar. Were it not for the migration, I would have been a man from the Ansar."Abu Hurairah said, "May my father and mother be sacrificed for him ﷺ, he did them no injustice, for they sheltered him and gave him support." He added, and I believe he said, "and shared with him what they had."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا شعبة عن محمد بن زياد قال سمعت
قال أبو القاسم ﷺ لو سلكت الأنصار واديا أو شعبا لسلكت شعب الأنصار أو وادي الأنصار ولولا الهجرة لكنت امرأ من الأنصار فقال أبو هريرة فما ظلم بأبي وأمي ﷺ لآووه ونصروه قال وأحسبه قال وواسوه
Its isnad is sahih. It appeared previously at 9280, and Bukhari related it in 5/38 in the Book of Virtues, and 5/200 in the Book of Campaigns, and Muslim in 2/738, number 1061, in the Book of Zakat.
