The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are four practices in my nation that they will not abandon, boasting about lineage, wailing over the dead, attributing rainfall to such-and-such star, and the saying, 'I bought a mangy camel,' or, 'It became mangy, so I put it among a hundred camels and they all caught the mange.' Yet who infected the first one?"
