The mouse is among those creatures that were transformed. The proof of this is that when camel's milk is placed before it, it will not approach it, but when sheep's milk is placed before it, it drinks from it.Kaab said to him, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"He replied, "Was the Torah revealed to me?"

الفأرة مما مسخ وآية ذلك أنه يوضع لها لبن اللقاح فلا تقربه وإذا وضع لها لبن الغنم أصابت منه قال فقال له كعب سمعت هذا من رسول الله ﷺ قال فأنزلت علي التوراة
Its isnad is sahih, it occurred previously at 3736, and the hadith is found in Muslim 4/2294, number 2997, in the chapter on Zuhd, concerning the mouse and that it is a transformed creature, and in Tabarani's Al-Saghir 2/44, under Muhammad, from Abu Hurairah.
