The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever intends to do a good deed but does not carry it out, one good deed is recorded for him. If he carries it out, it is recorded for him as ten good deeds, up to seven hundred times, and seven times more. If he does not carry it out, one good deed is still recorded for him. Whoever intends to do an evil deed but does not carry it out, nothing is recorded against him."
