The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I was granted victory through the awe cast into the hearts of my enemies, and I was given speech that gathers many meanings in few words."
وقال رسول الله ﷺ طهر إناء أحدكم إذا ولغ الكلب فيه أن يغسله سبع مرات
This one is also sahih, and it is from the individual manuscript (al-Saheefah al-Mufradah), number 53. Muslim narrated it [1:62 in the Saharanpur edition / 1:92 in the Bulaq edition] through the route of the Saheefah, but Bukhari did not narrate it through their route. However, its meaning was narrated by him at 1:239–240 (Fath), from the copy of Araj, and its meaning has already appeared from the copy of Araj at 7341 and 7341m. And from other routes at 7440, 7593, 7659, and 7659m.As for his saying "tuhr" (purity), this is what is established in the printed edition, the two manuscripts, and Jami al-Masanid wal-Sunan 7:393–394. In the individual manuscript it occurs with the wording "tuhoor," which agrees with the narration of Muslim.As for his saying "that he wash it seven times," this is what is established in the manuscript sources of the Musnad, Jami al-Masanid, and Sahih Muslim, and it is the correct wording that fits the context of the speech. In the individual manuscript, instead of it, occurs "let him wash it seven times," and this, in my view, is an error by a copyist or a printer, because it contradicts the rest of the narrations of the Saheefah, and because it does not fit the context of the speech, as is evident.
