I heard my beloved, Abu Qasim ﷺ, say, "The ruin of my nation will come at the hands of foolish young men from Quraysh."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن حدثنا سفيان عن سماك حدثنا عبد الله بن ظالم قال سمعت
سمعت حبي أبا القاسم ﷺ يقول إن فساد أمتي على يدي غلمة سفهاء من قريش
Its chain of transmission is sahih, and it is a repetition of 7858 and 7961. We established in the discussion of the first of these that naming the successor Abdullah bin Zalim is a mistake made by whoever said it, and that the correct name is Malik bin Zalim, and that the more likely explanation is that this error originated with Abdul-Rahman bin Mahdi.
