Muhammad bin Qays reported,

Abu Hurairah was asked, "Did you hear from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that ill omen lies in three things, the dwelling, the horse, and the woman?"He replied, "Were I to say that, I would be attributing to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ something he did not say. But I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The truest form of omen is the good omen, and the evil eye is real.'"

عن محمد بن قيس قال

سئل أبو هريرة سمعت من رسول الله ﷺ الطيرة في ثلاث في المسكن والفرس والمرأة قال قلت إذن أقول على رسول الله ﷺ ما لم يقل ولكني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول أصدق الطيرة الفأل والعين حق
