Abu Ghadiya reported,

I came to Madinah, and a messenger from Kathir bin Salt arrived inviting people to a meal. No one rose except Abu Hurairah and five others, of whom I was one. They went and ate.Afterward, Abu Hurairah came back, washed his hand, and said, "By Allah, people of the mosque, you are disobedient to Abu Qasim ﷺ."

حدثنا روح أخبرنا عكرمة بن عمار سمعت

أبا الغادية اليمامي قال

أتيت المدينة فجاء رسول كثير بن الصلت فدعاهم فما قام إلا أبو هريرة وخمسة منهم أنا أحدهم فذهبوا فأكلوا ثم جاء أبو هريرة فغسل يده ثم قال والله يا أهل المسجد إنكم لعصاة لأبي القاسم ﷺ
