A community from the children of Israil disappeared, and he mentioned the mouse, saying, "Do you not see that if you bring it camel's milk, it will not approach it, but if you bring it sheep's milk, it will drink it?"He was asked, "Is this what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"He replied, "Do I recite the Torah?"

Its isnad is sahih. Muhammad is Ibn Sirin. The hadith has already appeared in similar form at 7736 and 7196, through two paths from Ibn Sirin. The one who asked Abu Hurairah, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah?" was Kaab Ahbar, as the two previous narrations indicate.
