I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When a slave obeys his Lord and obeys his master, he receives two rewards."
حدثنا أبو كامل حدثنا حماد عن عمار بن أبي عمار قال سمعت
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إذا أطاع العبد ربه وأطاع سيده فله أجران
Its chain is sahih. Ammar bin Abu Ammar, the freedman of Banu Hashim, his reliability was already established at 1945, and in the addendum numbered 260, and we add here that Ibn Abu Hatim gave his biography at 3/1/389. Here in H it appears as, Ammar bin Abu Ammar, which is an error, perhaps a printing error, and we have corrected it from K and M and the reference sources. The hadith will come later by way of Hammad, who is Ibn Salama, from Ammar bin Abu Ammar, at 7911, 9257, 9993, 10303. Something similar to it, in meaning, has already passed from the hadith of Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah, at 7422.
