The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Adam and Musa, peace be upon them, debated with one another.Musa said, 'Adam, you are our father. You disappointed us and caused us to be expelled from Paradise.'Adam replied to him, 'Musa, Allah chose you with His speech,' and once he said, 'with His message,' and 'He wrote the Tawrah for you with His own hand. Do you blame me for a matter that Allah decreed upon me forty years before He created me?'"The Prophet then said, "So Adam outargued Musa, Adam outargued Musa."
