The Prophet ﷺ said, "The strong man is not the one who overcomes others in wrestling. Rather, the strong man is the one who controls himself when angry."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن حدثنا مالك عن الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب
عن النبي ﷺ قال ليس الشديد بالصرعة ولكن الشديد الذي يملك نفسه عند الغضب
Its isnad is sahih. It is in Muwatta, p. 906. Bukhari related it, 10:431, from Abdullah bin Yusuf, and Muslim, 2:289–290, from Yahya bin Yahya and Abdul-Ala bin Hammad, all three of them from Malik, with this wording, through this chain.
