I went out with my father when I was a young boy, and we came to a man who was sitting in the shade of his house at midday. He was wearing two green garments, his hair was thick and full, and on his head was a trace of henna. My father said to me, "Do you know who this is?"I said, "No."He said, "This is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."We then talked for a long time. My father said to him, "I am a man from a family of medicine. Show me what is on your back between your shoulders. If it is a tumor, I will remove it for you, and if it is something else, I will tell you what it is."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Its physician is the One who created it."Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at me and said to him, "Is this your son?"He said, "I bear witness that he is."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Consider what you say."He said, "Yes, by the Lord of the Kaabah."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then laughed at my resemblance to my father and at my father's swearing concerning me, and he said, "This one, he will not bring guilt upon you, nor will you bring guilt upon him."
حدثنا عبد الله حدثنا محمد بن بكار حدثنا قيس بن الربيع الأسدي عن إياد بن لقيط

Its isnad is sahih. Qays bin Rabi Asadi, we established the preference for regarding him as reliable in 661 and 1650, and we add here that he has biographical entries in Ibn Saad 6:263-264 and Jarh wal-Tadil 9/2/3-98. The hadith has the same meaning as the hadiths before and after it, from the narration of Abu Rimtha. It is among the additions of Abdullah bin Ahmad. A similar version will come later with this same isnad at 17569.The word "rajulan" (a man) is written in manuscript M as "rajul" without the alif, and is written with the alif in manuscripts K and H. The word "jalisan" (sitting) is likewise written in manuscripts M and K as "jalis" without the alif. In manuscript M, two fathas and a mark of correctness were placed over it, indicating that it is in the accusative case. This manner of writing both words is permissible according to the dialect of Rabia, since they pronounce the accusative with a resting letter (sukun) at the end, just as they do with the nominative and genitive.
