Abdullah bin Amr bin As reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever slaughters a sparrow without right, Allah will question him about it on the Day of Resurrection."It was asked, "And what is its right?"He replied, "That he slaughter it properly, and not take it by the neck and snap it off."

حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد بن سلمة أخبرنا عمرو بن دينار عن صهيب الحذاء

عن عبد الله بن عمرو

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال من ذبح عصفورا بغير حقه سأله الله عز وجل عنه يوم القيامة قيل وما حقه قال يذبحه ذبحا ولا يأخذ بعنقه فيقطعه
