The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a man from raising his voice in recitation before and after the Isha prayer, since doing so would confuse his companions while they were praying.
حدثنا خلف حدثنا خالد عن مطرف عن أبي إسحاق عن الحارث
أن رسول ﷺ نهى أن يرفع الرجل صوته بالقراءة قبل العشاء وبعدها يغلط أصحابه وهم يصلون
Its isnad is daif due to the weakness of Harith Awar, as will come at 752. Mutarrif is Ibn Tarif Harithi. Hafiz quoted in Tahdhib 3/101, from Tamhid by Ibn Abdul-Barr, that he said regarding this hadith, "Khalid alone transmitted it, and he is daif, and its entire isnad is not something to be relied upon." Then he commented on this, saying, "This is a weak overgeneralization, for all of them are trustworthy except Harith, and there is no one among them whose testimony cannot be relied upon besides him."The beginning of the isnad in H reads, "Khalaf bin Khalid narrated to us," which is an error like the one before it.
