The Prophet ﷺ said, "Ask Allah the Exalted for guidance and uprightness. When you ask for guidance, have in mind being guided along the road, and when you ask for uprightness, have in mind the straightening of an arrow."
حدثنا خلف حدثنا خالد عن عاصم بن كليب عن أبي بردة بن أبي موسى أن
قال النبي ﷺ سل الله تعالى الهدى والسداد واذكر بالهدى هدايتك الطريق واذكر بالسداد تسديدك السهم
Its isnad is sahih, and the hadith was narrated by Muslim, 2/317.
