Abdullah bin Umar reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a town dweller from selling on behalf of a Bedouin. He used to say, "Do not go out to meet caravans to buy their goods before they reach the market. None of you should sell over the sale of another. None of you should propose to a woman who has already been proposed to by his brother, until the first suitor withdraws or grants him permission to propose."

نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن يبيع حاضر لباد وكان يقول لا تلقوا البيوع ولا يبع بعض على بيع بعض ولا يخطب أحدكم أو أحد على خطبة أخيه حتى يترك الخاطب الأول أو يأذنه فيخطب
