The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no binding sale between two parties until they part ways, except in the case of a sale with the option to choose."
حدثنا الفضل بن دكين حدثنا سفيان عن عبد الله بن دينار
قال رسول الله ﷺ كل بيعين لا بيع بينهما حتى يتفرقا إلا بيع الخيار
Its isnad is sahih. Sufyan is Thawri. The hadith is a repetition of 5130, and it has also occurred previously at 4566 from Sufyan, who is Ibn Uyayna, from Abdullah bin Dinar. Similar versions of it with the same meaning have occurred repeatedly, at length and in brief, including at 5418 and 6006.
