Ibn Umar called the adhan for prayer on a cold and windy night, then at the end of his call he said, "Pray in your dwellings, pray in your dwellings, pray in your dwellings." He explained that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to order the muadhin, whenever it was a cold, rainy, or windy night during travel, to announce, "Pray in your dwellings."
حدثنا محمد بن عبيد حدثنا عبيد الله
أن ابن عمر نادى بالصلاة في ليلة ذات برد وريح ثم قال في آخر ندائه ألا صلوا في رحالكم ألا صلوا في رحالكم ألا صلوا في الرحال فإن رسول الله ﷺ كان يأمر المؤذن إذا كانت ليلة باردة أو ذات مطر أو ذات ريح في السفر ألا صلوا في الرحال
