I went out with Ibn Umar on one of the roads of Madinah, and he saw some young men who had set up a chicken as a target and were shooting at it, with every missed shot counted against them. He asked, "Who did this?" and grew angry.When the young men saw Ibn Umar, they scattered.Then Ibn Umar said, reporting from the Prophet ﷺ, "Allah has cursed anyone who mutilates an animal."
حدثنا عفان قال حدثنا شعبة أخبرني المنهال بن عمرو قال سمعت
خرجت مع ابن عمر في طريق من طرق المدينة فرأى فتيانا قد نصبوا دجاجة يرمونها لهم كل خاطئة فقال من فعل هذا وغضب فلما رأوا ابن عمر تفرقوا ثم قال ابن عمر عن النبي ﷺ لعن الله من يمثل بالحيوان
