I memorized from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ten rakahs apart from the obligatory prayers, two rakahs before Dhuhr, two rakahs after Dhuhr, two rakahs after Maghrib, two rakahs after Isha, and two rakahs before Fajr.
Its isnad is sahih. It has already appeared at 5127 and 5432 by way of Qatada from Mughira, and at 5739 by way of Muhammad bin Sirin from Mughira. In the first narration we noted the disagreement over the spelling of the name of Mughira's father, whether it is Salman or Sulayman, and in the other two narrations we likewise noted the disagreement among the manuscripts over its spelling. Here too the spelling in the three manuscripts is Salman, without a ya, while an alternative version, Sulayman, is recorded in the margin of manuscripts K and M, and in the margin of K it is written according to the old spelling as Sulaymin, with a ya but without an alif.
