We traveled with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and with Umar, and I never saw either of them pray more than two units. We were lost in misguidance, and Allah guided us through him, so it is his example we follow.
حدثنا عفان حدثنا همام حدثنا مطر
سافرنا مع رسول الله ﷺ ومع عمر فلم أرهما يزيدان على ركعتين وكنا ضلالا فهدانا الله به فبه نقتدي
