Someone said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The example of the hypocrite is like that of a sheep lying down among the flock."Ibn Umar responded, "Woe to you! Do not lie about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only said, 'The example of the hypocrite is like that of a sheep wandering between two flocks.'"
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن عثمان بن يزدويه عن يعفر بن روذي سمعت
يقول رسول الله ﷺ مثل المنافق كمثل الشاة الرابضة بين الغنم فقال ابن عمر ويلكم لا تكذبوا على رسول الله ﷺ إنما قال رسول الله ﷺ مثل المنافق كمثل الشاة العائرة بين الغنمين
