Shall I tell you how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ablution?We said, "Yes."So he called for water, washed his face three times, rinsed his mouth and nose three times, then washed his hands up to the elbows three times, then wiped his head and ears, and washed his feet three times. Then he said, "This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ablution."
حدثنا عبد الله حدثني وهب بن بقية الواسطي أنبأنا خالد يعني ابن عبد الله عن الجريري عن عروة بن قبيصة عن رجل من الأنصار عن أبيه قال كنت قائما عند
ألا أنبئكم كيف كان رسول الله ﷺ يتوضأ قلنا بلى فدعا بماء فغسل وجهه ثلاثا ومضمض واستنشق ثلاثا ثم غسل يديه إلى مرفقيه ثلاثا ثم مسح برأسه وأذنيه وغسل رجليه ثلاثا ثم قال هكذا كان رسول الله ﷺ يتوضأ
