Humran bin Abban reported,

He witnessed Uthman performing ablution one day. He rinsed his mouth, sniffed water into his nose, and washed his face three times. He then narrated from the Prophet ﷺ a hadith similar to the one Ibn Jafar reported from Saeed.

أنه شهد عثمان رضي الله عنه توضأ يوما فمضمض واستنشق وغسل وجهه ثلاثا وحدث عن النبي ﷺ نحو حديث ابن جعفر عن سعيد
