The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave Umar bin Khattab a slave girl from the captives of Hawazin, and he in turn gave her to me. I sent her to my maternal uncles from the Banu Jumah so they could prepare her for me, intending to go to her after I had performed the circumambulation of the Kabah, for I wanted to be intimate with her when I returned.When I left the mosque after finishing, I found people rushing about. I asked, "What is the matter with you?"They replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has ordered us to return our captured women and children."I said, "Your woman is with the Banu Jumah, so go and take her."So they went and took her.

أعطى رسول الله ﷺ عمر بن الخطاب جارية من سبي هوازن فوهبها لي فبعثت بها إلى أخوالي من بني جمح ليصلحوا لي منها حتى أطوف بالبيت ثم أاتيهم وأنا أريد أن أصيبها إذا رجعت إليها قال فخرجت من المسجد حين فرغت فإذا الناس يشتدون فقلت ما شأنكم قالوا رد علينا رسول الله ﷺ أبناءنا ونساءنا قال قلت تلك صاحبتكم في بني جمح فاذهبوا فخذوها فذهبوا فأخذوها
