The Prophet ﷺ said, "A person in the state of ihram for Hajj or Umrah must not marry, nor propose for marriage."
حدثنا سفيان عن أيوب بن موسى عن نبيه بن وهب عن أبان بن عثمان رضي الله عنه
به النبي ﷺ قال لا ينكح المحرم ولا يخطب
Its isnad is sahih. Sufyan is Ibn Uyayna. This hadith is an abridgment of 462, and see also 492.
