Uthman reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted, or said concerning the person in a state of ihram, that if his eye troubles him he may apply aloe to it as a dressing.
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Sufyan is Ibn Uyayna, and the hadith is abridged 494. In ح, it reads "from Ayub bin Musa from Amr bin Saeed," which is an error that we have corrected from ك and هـ. He is Ayub bin Musa bin Amr bin Saeed bin As bin Saeed bin As bin Umaya. His words "a man from the hujjab" mean one of the custodians of the House, because Nabih bin Wahb was from Banu Abd Dar bin Qusay.
