He saw a funeral procession approaching, and when he saw it he stood up and said, "I saw Uthman do this, and he informed me that he saw the Prophet ﷺ do it."
حدثنا عبد الله حدثني الحكم بن موسى أبو صالح حدثنا سعيد بن مسلمة عن إسماعيل بن أمية عن موسى بن عمران بن مناح
أنه رأى جنازة مقبلة فلما رآها قام وقال رأيت عثمان يفعل ذلك وأخبرني أنه رأى النبي ﷺ يفعله
Its isnad is daif. Saeed bin Maslamah bin Hisham bin Abdul-Malik bin Marwan is daif. Ibn Main said, "He is nothing." Bukhari said, "His hadith is munkar, there is something questionable about him."This isnad is among the additions of Abdullah bin Ahmad. The hadith has already passed among his additions as well at 426 with a sahih isnad, and likewise it has passed through the narration of Imam Ahmad at 457 with a sahih isnad as well. It will come again at 529 with this same isnad.
