Musab bin Saad bin Abu Waqqas reported,

Some people came to visit Ibn Amir during his illness and began praising him. Ibn Umar said, "I am not the one who would deceive you the most among them. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Indeed, Allah does not accept charity from spoils taken dishonestly, nor a prayer without purification.'"

أن ناسا دخلوا على ابن عامر في مرضه فجعلوا يثنون عليه فقال ابن عمر أما إني لست بأغشهم لك سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن الله تبارك وتعالى لا يقبل صدقة من غلول ولا صلاة بغير طهور
