Umar bin Ubaydullah intended to marry off his son while the son was in a state of ihram, but Abban forbade him from doing so. Abban stated that Uthman had narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said, "A person in ihram must neither marry nor give in marriage."

أن عمر بن عبيد الله أراد أن يزوج ابنه وهو محرم فنهاه أبان وزعم أن عثمان رضي الله عنه حدث عن رسول الله ﷺ قال المحرم لا ينكح ولا ينكح
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 40146 2, with some addition and omission. See 535. "Aban forbade him" in place of it, in H, "his father forbade him," which is a clear error. We corrected it from K and H.
