Nabi bin Wahb reported,

Umar bin Ubaydullah intended to marry off his son while the son was in a state of ihram, but Abban forbade him from doing so. Abban stated that Uthman رضي الله عنه had narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said, "A person in ihram must neither marry nor give in marriage."
