Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from a pilgrimage or a military expedition and ascended a hill or elevated ground, he would say, "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over all things. We return, repenting, prostrating, worshipping our Lord, and praising Him. Allah has fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and alone defeated the confederates."

كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا قفل من حج أو غزو فعلا فدفدا من الأرض أو شرفا قال الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير آيبون تائبون ساجدون عابدون لربنا حامدون صدق الله وعده ونصر عبده وهزم الأحزاب وحده
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud (3:43) narrated it through the route of Malik, from Nafi, with similar wording. Munziri said, Bukhari, Muslim, and Nasai reported it.Qufl means he returned from his journey. Ibn Athir said, the term qufool may also be used for travel, whether going or coming, but it is most often used for returning.Al-fadfad is a place that has roughness and elevation. Al-sharaf is a raised piece of ground that stands higher than what surrounds it.
