I saw some men and women performing ablution together from a single vessel during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
حدثنا إسماعيل أخبرنا أيوب عن نافع
رأيت الرجال والنساء يتوضئون على عهد رسول الله ﷺ جميعا من إناء واحد
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud (1:30) also narrated it through Hammad from Ayub. Munziri said, "Nasai and Ibn Majah also narrated it." Bukhari also narrated it, but without the phrase "from the same vessel."
