Hasan reported that Ibn Masud told them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There will be people in the Fire for as long as Allah wills them to remain there. Then Allah will have mercy on them and bring them out, and they will dwell in the lowest part of Paradise. They will bathe in a river called al-Hayawan, and the people of Paradise will call them al-Jahannamiyyun. If one of them were to host the people of this world, he would furnish bedding for them, feed them, give them drink, and provide them with covers."I do not think he said anything other than, "and would marry them off."Hasan said, "That would not diminish anything from what he has."
حدثنا عفان وحسن بن موسى قالا حدثنا حماد بن سلمة قال حسن عن عطاء وقال عفان حدثنا عطاء بن السائب عن عمرو بن ميمون
حسن إن ابن مسعود حدثهم أن رسول الله ﷺ قال يكون قوم في النار ما شاء الله أن يكونوا ثم يرحمهم الله فيخرجهم منها فيكونون في أدنى الجنة فيغتسلون في نهر يقال له الحيوان يسميهم أهل الجنة الجهنميون لو ضاف أحدهم أهل الدنيا لفرشهم وأطعمهم وسقاهم ولحفهم ولا أظنه إلا قال ولزوجهم قال حسن لا ينقصه ذلك شيئا
