The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every traitor will have a banner raised for him on the Day of Resurrection."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا شعبة عن سليمان الأعمش عن أبي وائل
عن النبي ﷺ قال لكل غادر لواء يوم القيامة
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari, Muslim, and Ibn Majah also narrated it, as in Dhakhair 4877.Liwa means banner. Ibn Athir said, it is a sign by which one is made known among the people, because the place of the banner marks the location of the leader.
