Abdullah bin Abbas reported,
When the Prophet ﷺ came, he resumed the recitation from where Abu Bakr 
had reached.

Its isnad is sahih, and it is an abridgment of 2055, and it will come at greater length with this same isnad at 3355. Ibn Saad narrated it at 3/1/130 in abridged form from Waki, with this very same isnad.
