Ibn Abbas said to me, "Shall I show you a woman from the people of Paradise?"I said, "Yes."He said, "This black woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'I suffer from epileptic seizures, and my body becomes uncovered during them. Pray to Allah for me.'The Prophet ﷺ replied, 'If you wish, you may endure it patiently and Paradise will be yours. Or if you wish, I will pray to Allah to cure you.'She said, 'I will endure it. But pray to Allah that I not become uncovered.'So he prayed for her."
حدثنا يحيى عن عمران أبا بكر قال حدثنا
قال لي ابن عباس ألا أريك امرأة من أهل الجنة قال قلت بلى قال هذه السوداء أتت النبي ﷺ فقالت إني أصرع وأتكشف فادع الله لي قال إن شئت صبرت ولك الجنة وإن شئت دعوت الله لك أن يعافيك قالت لا بل أصبر فادع الله أن لا أتكشف أو لا ينكشف عني قال فدعا لها
