Abu Bakr Siddiq entered the masjid while Umar was addressing the people, but he went on until he came to the room in which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had died, and it was in Ayesha's house. He drew back the striped Yemeni cloak that had been spread over him and looked into the face of the Prophet ﷺ. Then he bent over him and kissed him, and said, "By Allah, Allah will not bring two deaths upon you. You have died the death after which there is no dying."
