Abu Bakr al-Siddiq entered the mosque while Umar was speaking to the people. He walked past them until he reached the house in which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had passed away, which was the house of Ayesha. He uncovered the Prophet's face, which had been draped with a striped Yemeni cloak, looked at his face, then leaned over him and kissed him.He said, "By Allah, Allah will never combine two deaths upon you. You have died the death after which you will never die again."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن الزهري قال حدثني أبو سلمة بن عبد الرحمن قال كان
أن أبا بكر الصديق دخل المسجد وعمر يحدث الناس فمضى حتى أتى البيت الذي توفي فيه رسول الله ﷺ وهو في بيت عائشة فكشف عن وجهه برد حبرة كان مسجى به فنظر إلى وجه النبي ﷺ ثم أكب عليه يقبله ثم قال والله لا يجمع الله عليه موتتين لقد مت الموتة التي لا تموت بعدها
