The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was at the house of Maymunah, and water was placed for him at night to perform ablution.Maymunah said, "Messenger of Allah, Abdullah bin Abbas placed this for you."He said, "O Allah, give him deep understanding of the religion and teach him the interpretation."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد بن سلمة حدثنا عبد الله بن عثمان بن خثيم عن سعيد بن جبير
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان في بيت ميمونة فوضعت له وضوءا من الليل قال فقالت ميمونة يا رسول الله وضع لك هذا عبد الله بن عباس فقال اللهم فقه في الدين وعلمه التأويل
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a longer version of 3023, 3397.
