The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no evil omen, no contagion, no owl-superstition, and no Safar."A man asked, "Messenger of Allah, we take a mangy sheep and place it among the flock, and they all become mangy."He replied, "Then who infected the first one?"

أن النبي ﷺ قال لا طيرة ولا عدوى ولا هامة ولا صفر قال فقال رجل يا رسول الله إنا لنأخذ الشاة الجرباء فنطرحها في الغنم فتجرب قال فمن أعدى الأول
