They set out with the Prophet ﷺ in the state of ihram, when one of them was thrown by his camel and died. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wash him with water and lote leaves, shroud him in his two garments, do not apply perfume to him, and do not cover his head, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection with his hair still matted from ihram."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا أبو عوانة حدثنا أبو بشر عن سعيد بن جبير
أنهم خرجوا مع النبي ﷺ محرمين وأن رجلا منهم وقصه بعيره فمات فقال رسول الله ﷺ اغسلوه بماء وسدر وكفنوه في ثوبين ولا تمسوه طيبا ولا تخمروا رأسه فإنه يبعث يوم القيامة ملبدا
