Umar bin Khattab reported,

Were it not for the last of the Muslims, I would not conquer a town without dividing it as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided Khaybar.

لولا آخر المسلمين ما فتحت قرية إلا قسمتها كما قسم رسول الله ﷺ خيبر
