Asma bint Yazid used to serve the Prophet ﷺ. She said, "While I was with him, my maternal aunt came in wearing two gold bracelets and began questioning him. The Prophet ﷺ said to her, 'Would it please you that two bracelets of fire be placed on you?'"She said, "I said, 'Aunt, he means these two bracelets of yours,' so she took them off."She said, "Prophet of Allah, if women do not adorn themselves, they become unappealing to their husbands."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ laughed and said, "Can one of you not make a necklace of silver and a pearl of silver, then dye it with saffron so that it appears as if it were gold? For whoever adorns herself with the weight of a locust's eye in gold, or who drags a glittering ornament, will be branded with it on the Day of Resurrection."

أن أسماء بنت يزيد كانت تخدم النبي ﷺ قالت فبينما أنا عنده إذ جاءته خالتي قالت فجعلت تسائله وعليها سواران من ذهب فقال لها النبي ﷺ أيسرك أن عليك سوارين من نار قالت قلت يا خالتي إنما يعني سواريك هذين قالت فألقتهما قالت يا نبي الله إنهن إذا لم يتحلين صلفن عند أزواجهن فضحك رسول الله ﷺ وقال أما تستطيع إحداكن أن تجعل طوقا من فضة وجمانة من فضة ثم تخلقه بزعفران فيكون كأنه من ذهب فإن من تحلى وزن عين جرادة من ذهب أو جر بصيصة كوي بها يوم القيامة
